Android Wear was introduced last 2014 and Google recently announced the change of name from its original name Android Wear to “Wear OS”. The change of name is also officially confirmed on their website.
In one of the blog posts on Google, Dennis Tropper stated that they are announcing a new name that is better reflecting the side of technology and so as the vision. We are now offering our customers with the Wear OS by Google. The new brand logo will soon be unveiled out to the customers. Google is very much ambitious in offering with some of the more advanced features in the category of Wear OS.
This is quite exciting and interesting news for the Android users and we are sure that they will be much curious to know about the upcoming announcement or releases of new features too!
